Manage Exec's Specific Trap Numbers

When you receive a trap from Manage Exec, its Enterprise field contains the OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.1302.3.4.2.1.6, the Generic Trap field contains the value 6, and the Specific Trap field contains an integer in the range 1 to 11. The table below explains what these specific trap numbers mean.

Manage Exec has set (created) a priority 1 (highest priority) alert.

Manage Exec has set a priority 2 alert.

3

Manage Exec has set a priority 3 alert.

4

Manage Exec has set a priority 4 alert.

5

Manage Exec has set a priority 5 (lowest priority) alert.

Manage Exec has cleared an alert of unknown priority. (Only Management Servers earlier than 2.4.0 don't identify a priority when sending a clear-alert trap.)

Manage Exec has cleared a priority 1 (highest priority) alert.

Manage Exec has cleared a priority 2 alert.

Manage Exec has cleared a priority 3 alert.

Manage Exec has cleared a priority 4 alert.

Manage Exec has cleared a priority 5 (lowest priority) alert.
